Hey! Its me, Amanda the owner of Blush Hair Lounge! I am so excited to be able to collaborate with friends in the beauty industry to make your wedding day as seamless as possible! Whether that means travelling to your location or having your party fill the lounge with all the exciting energy of a wedding "entourage."
I have been in the beauty industry for 20+ years and one of the highlights of my career has been putting my personal touch on many brides over the years. This is an honour and a critical component to your day.
Adding the element of a "team" means you can take the guess work out of finding multiple resources and eliminate having to drive to multiple locations. We are happy to have your family and friends take part in your morning and encourage you to bring yourselves snacks and beverages to share while we take care of the rest.

Hello! My name is Kristen and I am a certified freelance makeup artist here in Prince George, BC. I took my training with the Powder Room here in town and completed my certification in 2020.
​
I was born in Salmon Arm, BC and raised here in Prince George. I have over 15 years experience in the beauty industry as a licensed hairstylist, esthetics apprentice and receptionist.
​
My passion has definitely been in the beauty industry and I am so excited to finally be embarking on a career that supports and inspires my artistic side. As a child, fine arts was life! I was always buried in a pile of paints, pastels and clay. As an adult I am so blessed to have a job that allows my mind and soul to thrive again and explore my creative side! Now my canvas' are the beautiful people in my community and I couldn't be happier to share a small part in their big day! Whether its preparing a bride for her wedding or on set for a film or photo shoot, my goal as a makeup artist is to help every individual feel their best and see the true beauty that lies within them. I want every person who sits in my chair to stand a little taller, smile a little wider, and to feel confident in their own skin.
